Introduction
This 3 day course goes into more detail about Microsoft Business Solutions
Axapta 3 tier setup starting with a 3-tier installation, Web deployment,
database administration, tools, tuning, troubleshooting, OLAP and Benchmarking.
Audience
This course is intended for System Administrations and other
technical support responsible for the planning and installation and configuration
of Microsoft Axapta 3.0. This audience typically includes technical consultants
who should be working with Microsoft Axapta to develop customizations
and modifications to meet clients’ needs. Additionally, consultants
who are responsible for training or supporting the customer should benefit
from this course.

Course Completion
After completing this course, students should be able to:
• Install Microsoft
Axapta in a 3-tier environment.
• Understand and use the database administration tools, and tuning.
• Perform their own troubleshooting, using tools discussed in the
course
• Understand and deploy Web deployment.
• Understandg OLAP and be able to install and configure it.
• Understand the Benchmarking tool and how to install and use it.
• Understand the importance of Backup and Recovery.
Prerequisites
Before attending this course, students must have:
• Completed
the Microsoft Axapta Installation and Configuration I course.
• A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows® 2000, Windows
2003, or Windows XP. Successful completion of Microsoft Certification
Exams 70-215 and 70-216 or 70-290 and 70-291 would be ideal.
• High technical proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server™ 2000.
• Knowledge of X++ programming is an advantage when talking about
tuning of Microsoft Axapta systems.

this course currently.
